Times-Union: Rensselaer Eagles soar to help fellow members

RENSSELAER -- Their motto is "people helping people' and the Fraternal Order of Eagles will be doing just that this weekend.

The lodge on Broadway invites the public to attend a fundraiser for members Richard Perez and George Bradt, who are suffering from cancer. Funds will also go to the family of Peter Corellis who died June 24 at Community Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital after a long illness.

• What: A fundraiser for the families of three cancer patients. Will include food, clams, beverages beer and a cash bar.
