Thirteen months after flood waters slammed into Rensselaer, causing millions of dollars in damages, the city is getting some help.

The new money, which is coming from two funding sources in the Assembly, will go towards clearing the areas along the Mill and Quackenderry creeks since collapsed culverts and restrictors likely caused the flooding.
