Charles Semowich, Rensselaer's City Historian, will be performing a special concert on the Albany City Hall Carillon today at 11:50am, as part of the city's 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony. The concert will include new music written to commemorate 9/11.
Charles will also play a special Quadricentennial Concert on September 24, 2009 - 5PM. "Albany's 49 bell carillon, located in the City Hall clock tower, is an extraordinary musical instrument with a history as rich as the city itself. Listen to this free concert from Academy Park, across the street from City Hall."
