Friends of the Rensselaer City Library are accepting good condition children’s novels and paper back books for the spring book and bake sale scheduled for June 27. Books can be dropped off at the library
10 a.m.-5 p.m. June 16-20;
10 a.m.-8 p.m. June 17; and
11 a.m.-2 p.m. June 20 at the library, 810 Broadway.

Textbook Return: Rensselaer City School District residents with children attending private/parochial schools and who have textbooks on loan from the Rensselaer City School District are asked to return the textbooks 9 a.m.-2 p.m. June 18, 23 and 24 at the Rensselaer Middle/High School, 25 Van Rensselaer Drive. Individual textbook requests for the 2009-2010 school year will not be processed until all textbooks for the 2008-2009 school year are returned.
