Times-Union: A celebration that set sail 400 years ago
Groups put focus on Henry Hudson, themselves

RENSSELAER -- As local communities start celebrating the Quadricentennial this weekend, the Crailo State Historic Site is preparing for a major change.

"We're the only museum for the Colonial Dutch in America. This is our year,'' said Heidi Hill, the site manager.

Crailo will open a new exhibit, "A Sweet and Alien Land: Colony of the Dutch in the Hudson River Valley" in July and is sponsoring Dutch music performances this weekend.
Musicians of Ma'alwyck - Sunday, June 07, 2009, 3pm. The Dutch Golden Age Concert by the Musicians of Ma'alwyck at the Presbyterian Church on Broadway (one block north of Crailo). Reception to follow at Crailo; ticket price TBA. Phone: (518) 463-8738.
