RENSSELAER — City employees not covered by collective bargaining units received health benefits totaling $126,000 last year though there was no resolution authorizing them to receive the benefits, according to an audit by the state comptroller.
In addition, elected employees and appointed officials did not contribute to the cost of their health insurance plans and the city was unable to provide all original time records for the city’s police chief.
